2025 Honda® CB1000SP
Honda CB1000SP Standard MotorcycleYou can’t miss the dynamic angular styling, or the gleaming gold suspension components, or the piercing quartet of projector headlights, or the blacked-out aesthetic. The Honda CB1000SP makes a bold statement just standing there, but it’s when you swing a leg over and twist the throttle that this streetfighter really opens your eyes. CBR-spec power tuned for instant acceleration grabs your attention right away, and then the agile handling and comfortable ergonomics remind you of the SP’s all-around versatility.
Features may include:
Engine & Drivetrain- Streetfighter Power
It started life as the power behind the CBR1000RR, so you know the new CB1000SP’s 999 cc four-cylinder engine delivers spirited performance right across the rev range. To give it true streetfighter character, engineers modified the pistons, altered valve timing and lift, designed a new airbox, and more — all with the aim of improving midrange power. The result? An engine with a powerful performance that’s also plenty capable of being an everyday ride in the city, and a whole lot of fun on tight, twisty backroads.
- Thrilling Performance
With a fully fuelled weight of just 212 kg (467 lb), the math adds up to a thrilling power-to-weight ratio.
Chassis & Suspension- Mass-Forward Geometry
The twin-spar steel frame provides a rigid foundation to support the engine and suspension, while its mass-forward geometry creates a sensible riding position that’s sporty yet relaxed. The mostly flat seat lets you sit forward and more upright while navigating through the city, or stretch out and crouch down in a more aggressive posture on a twisty road.
- Premium Suspension
As befits a premium Honda SP model, the CB1000SP boasts top-shelf suspension components front and rear. The Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function front Fork - Big Piston) 41 mm inverted fork uses a damping mechanism in one leg and only a spring in the other leg, which reduces sliding resistance and weight. And of course It’s fully adjustable for damping and spring preload. At the back you’ll find a fully adjustable Öhlins TTX 36 shock, connected via Pro-Link to a gravity-die-cast aluminum swingarm with an asymmetrical gull-wing shape to keep the exhaust system tucked in tightly. Superbike-spec stuff all around.
